This Number Nine riders jacket is made of sheepskin suede leather with a quilted culpra lining, which is stuffed with goose down feathers. The leather is incredibly soft and the lining gives you comfort and warmth. The jacket also features nice hardware details like buttons, zippers, buckles and a hidden nylon hood with drawstrings to adjust the size of the hood. The leather and the lining are in flawless condition. It's very hard to find this jacket and especially in such a good condition.
The fall-winter 2004 collection "give peace a chance" was Takahiro Miyashita's most political collection, in which he translated a message of dissatisfaction with the political climate. The so called anti-war or also anti-bush campaign is one of Miyashita's most iconic and popular collections ever. It was his first international runway show, which was in Paris 2004, and especially the tribal heart camo garments and the anti-bush/war slogan shirts caught many eyes.
The jacket was shown at the runway show, as seen on the last slide.
